 What is Naturopathy?

Naturopathy is a holistic approach to wellness, based on the principle that the body has the natural ability to heal itself. Using the healing power of nature, the body and mind are supported during the healing process.
Naturopathic principles are based on treating each person as an individual and finding the root cause of disease  instead of treating just the presenting symptoms.

Naturopathy incorporates a range of treatment methods including:

  • Herbal Medicine

  • Nutritional advice

  • Lifestyle advice to promote well-being and to reduce stress

  • Flower essences to enhance the emotional aspect of healing

Some of the more common conditions treated include fatigue, stress related ailments, digestive problems, and general aches and pains.
Naturopathic treatments boost the body's natural healing potential, restoring balance and preventing disease.

How should I prepare for my first treatment?

Once you have made a booking for your initial consultation, I will send you an email with forms that you need to fill out. This is to help me prepare before your appointment to better understand your situation. It will also include a diet diary. Once you have filled and signed the forms please email them back to me.
Payment must be made prior to the consultation; I will send you an invoice via PayPal.

What should I expect from my first session?

An initial appointment will last approximately 1 hour, and it involves a discussion about your body, health, any supplements, or medications that you are taking, your lifestyle and diet. I will gather this information to assist me in developing the best possible treatment plan for your individual situation. We will then work together to discuss and achieve your health and wellness goals.
After the initial consultation I will spend 1-2 hours researching and developing a treatment plan and prescription for you which I will present to you by phone or email and will post prescriptions to your home address.

Follow-up appointment

Follow up appointments will be 2-3 weeks after your initial appointment and will last for approximately 30 minutes. We will discuss your progress and talk about any concerns that you might have.
